Remove my data

If your business contact details appear in a DemoPool list and you don't want them there, we will remove them. You don't need to give a reason, and it's free.

How to ask

Email privacy@demopoolbase.com from the address you want removed, with the subject "Remove my data". If you're writing from another address, include the address or profile you want removed.
If you act for a label, company or artist, tell us which addresses or profiles belong to that organisation.
We may send one email to the address to confirm the request came from its owner. We don't use that email for anything else.

What happens next

We act without undue delay and within 30 days, and we email you when it's done.
Your record is deleted from every list we sell, including All Access.
Your address goes on a permanent suppression list, stored as a one-way hash. Our pipeline checks every new contact against it, so you won't be added back in any future file or monthly refresh.
We tell customers who received your details in the last 12 months to delete them within 10 days, as our Terms require.

You can also ask us what data we hold about you, where it came from, or to correct it, using the same email address. California residents can use this procedure to opt out of the sale of their personal information and to request deletion. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Got an unwanted email?

Our customers send their own messages; we don't email the people in our lists. If someone contacted you using our data and ignored your opt-out, or the message was spam, forward it to support@demopoolbase.com. We investigate and may revoke that customer's licence.
