How DemoPool compares

General B2B data brokers know companies, not the music industry. Music analytics tools know artists and streams, not who to email.

Questions companies ask

Who is the business licence for?

Any company that uses music industry contacts in its work: labels and distributors, PR and promo agencies, playlist pitching services, music-tech products, sample and plugin brands, promoters and booking agencies. One licence covers one legal entity and the seats in your plan.

How is it different from the All Access file?

All Access is a personal licence for one artist or manager working on their own music. As soon as a team, a company or client work is involved, you need a business licence. It adds seats, client use on the Agency plan, regular refreshes, an invoice to your company and a written licence.

Can an agency use the data for client campaigns?

Yes, on the Agency and Enterprise plans. You run the campaigns from your own tools and the raw data never goes to your clients. Each campaign names your agency and the client you work for.

How do we get the data?

As CSV and XLSX files with the same columns every time, ready for HubSpot, Pipedrive, Instantly or any CRM. Refreshes follow your plan. The Data API gives record lookup instead of files.

Is the data GDPR compliant?

We collect only business contact details that people and companies published themselves, and we can show the public source of any record. Opt-outs are synced to every licensee with each refresh, and we sign a DPA on request.

What happens when the licence ends?

You stop using the data and delete every copy, including exports in your CRM, and confirm it in writing. Renewal keeps your data current, and we remind you before the term ends.

Can we resell or share the data?

No. Resale, sharing and building a competing database are not allowed. If reselling is your business model, ask about the data feed licence: it is a separate contract with its own terms.

How do we pay?

By invoice to your company, with your VAT ID on it, prepaid for the year. You get a payment link with the invoice.

Can we see the data before we sign?

Yes. Tell us the segments you need and we send a sample from them together with the quote.

What if emails bounce?

Every address is checked on its mail server and each row carries its last-verified date. If more than 3% of your first send hard-bounces, we replace those contacts one for one.

Music industry database for companies

A music industry directory tells you who works where. A music industry database your team can license tells you who to email this week, in which genre, and whether the address still works. DemoPool is the second kind: 241,345 verified contacts of record labels and A&R, playlist curators, DJs, radio, press, managers, booking agents, clubs and festivals, rebuilt every day by our own data pipeline and licensed to a company, not to one person.

Directory, database or API: what your team needs

Directory platforms show profile pages behind a login. They are good for reading up on a few dozen companies before a meeting. Outreach works differently: you need rows you can load into your CRM, filter by genre and country, and send from your own tools. Products need a third format, a lookup they can call from their own code.

What a business licence adds to the personal file

The All Access file is the same music industry contact list, licensed to one artist or manager for their own releases. Once a team, a company or client work is involved, the business licence is the right contract. It adds named seats, client campaigns on the Agency plan, scheduled refreshes with opt-outs removed, an invoice to your company with your VAT ID, a written licence your legal team can sign off on, and a DPA on request.

Segments teams license most

License the whole base or only the parts you work with. Each segment also has its own page with a free sample:

Some teams keep personal addresses out of their CRM. For them there is a separate file of 7,326 company inboxes such as info@, demo@ or booking@ on the company’s own domain.

How the data stays clean

Every record comes from Ninja Digger, the pipeline we built for this base. It reads public sources music people use to be found: Beatport charts, label sites, Spotify playlists, SoundCloud and YouTube profiles, radio and festival sites, agency rosters. It keeps an email only when the person or company published it, and we can show that source for any record (data sources).

Each address is checked on the recipient mail server before every delivery, and each row carries its last-verified date. Bounces, complaints and opt-outs are removed and stay removed, and the removals reach every licensee with the next refresh. Current data: Oct 21, 2026.

Questions to ask any music industry data provider

  1. Where does each record come from? Ask to see the public source of a few rows you pick yourself.
  2. How fresh is it? A last-verified date per row beats a “database updated in 2026” banner.
  3. What happens when emails bounce? Get the replacement terms in writing before the first send.
  4. Who may use it? Seats, client work and subcontractors should be named in the licence, not assumed.
  5. What happens at the end? Deletion, renewal and opt-out handling should be clear before you sign.

We answer all five in the quote, together with a sample from the segments you ask for.

For A&R teams and music-tech products

Most A&R tools show streams, charts and playlist adds. They tell you who is growing, not how to reach the label, manager or agent behind the artist. The Music Data API closes that gap: look up contacts by segment, genre and country from your own A&R database, CRM or app, with opt-outs applied on every call. It is a contacts API, not a catalogue or streaming API, so it sits next to the metadata tools you already use.

Try it before you talk to us

The free tools run on the same data: the label finder shows labels accepting demos by genre, the curator finder searches Spotify playlist curators, and the email list checker tests a list you already have. When you are ready, tell us what you need and we reply within one business day with a sample and a price.
