Free tools for independent musicians

Six small tools for the work around a release: what your streams pay, who to pitch, what to write and when to send it. All free, no sign-up, built on the same data as our contact lists.

By genre

Live examples and pitching tips for the genres with the most contacts. Counts update daily.

Why these tools are free

Most independent artists do their own promotion between day jobs and studio time. The hard part is rarely the music. It is knowing who to send it to, what to say and when. Each tool here answers one of those questions in a minute, without an account.

They run on real data. The curator and label finders show live rows from the same base we sell, with emails masked. The genre counts come from that base and update every day. The royalty calculator uses published per-stream ranges with sources, not one made-up rate. And yes, they also show you what our lists look like before you spend a cent on one.

How to use them together

Start with the release plan generator four to six weeks before release day. Use the royalty calculator to set a realistic goal. Find curators and labels in your genre, then write each pitch with the email generator: short, personal, one link. Before you send, run your contacts through the email list checker so dead addresses don't drag your emails into spam.

When you need more than a sample, every DemoPool list has verified emails, sorted by genre and dated, from one genre to the whole archive.
