How the label finder works
Each card is a real row from our record label database, pulled live when you pick a genre. You see the label name, country, genres, followers, the date of its last release and where it takes demos. The email is masked to the first letter and the domain. A label domain like drumcode.se tells you more than a Gmail address: it is the label's own inbox, not a side project.
The database has 13,930 labels. Techno has 2,907 labels, house 2,814 and deep and organic house 1,849. Counts on the chips update every day.
Which labels actually accept demos
Look at two fields before you send anything. Last release tells you if the label is alive. A label that released this month is listening. A label that has not released in two years probably is not. Demos to tells you the door. "Demo inbox" means a dedicated address for submissions. "Main contact" means the label's general inbox, which is fine for small and mid-size labels that do not run a separate demo address.
Then open the label's last few releases. If your track would sit well next to them, pitch. If not, skip. Labels say no to good tracks every day because they do not fit the catalogue.
How to send a demo to a record label
One track per email, or two at most. Use a private SoundCloud link with downloads off, or a private stream on a service the label already uses. Subject line: artist name, track title, genre and BPM. In the body, say which of their releases your track sits next to and why. Keep it to four or five lines.
Send to each label on its own. Never put fifty labels in one To field. Wait two to three weeks before a follow-up, and send only one. If a label passes, thank them and send your next track in a few months. Many signings come from the second or third demo.
Free preview vs the full list
The preview shows up to six labels per filter. The full file has every label in the genre with the full email, demo inbox type, website, profile links, country, city, followers, last release, Beatport chart entries and the date each email last passed verification. Buy one genre, the full file, or get a fresh file every month with the Genre Pass.
Label finder FAQ
Is the label finder free?
Yes. Pick a genre and country and see live examples with no signup. Enter your email if you want 25 real labels from your genre sent to your inbox.
How do I find record labels that accept demos?
Pick your genre, then check two things for each label: a recent last release and a demo inbox or main contact. Listen to their latest releases before you send anything.
What does Demos to mean?
It shows where the label takes submissions. Demo inbox is a dedicated submission address. Main contact is the general inbox the label publishes for all requests.
Where do the labels come from?
Our pipeline reads Beatport charts and public label pages every day and collects the labels behind the releases. Every email was published by the label and passed a mail server check.
How many record labels are in the database?
13,930 labels across 23 genres, updated Oct 9, 2026. The number on each genre chip is live.
Why is the country filter limited?
It filters the free preview sample. The full file has a country column for every label that lists one, so you can sort and filter all of them in a spreadsheet.
How should I send a demo to a label?
One or two tracks, a private stream link, a short note on why your track fits their catalogue. One label per email and one follow-up after two to three weeks.
