Deep & Organic House record labels accepting demos

How to pitch a deep and organic house label

These labels sell a mood. Think sunset sets, open air, long builds and warm low end. They pick music that keeps a crowd in one feeling for hours, so a single track that jumps between moods is a hard sell.

Sound design and mixdown matter more here than in most club genres. Live instruments, real percussion and textures have to sit in a clear mix with room to breathe. A crowded mix or harsh top end gets a quick no.

Send two tracks if you can. Labels in this scene sign artists for the long run, and two tracks show you have a consistent sound, not one lucky idea. Add one line about the story or place behind the music. These labels build releases around artwork and a concept, and a clear idea helps them picture yours.

Avoid world-music clichés. A random ethnic vocal sample over a stock groove is the most common demo in the genre and labels are tired of it.
